W E L C O M E. Christian Dior Necklace & Earrings. This stunning necklace and earrings combination is a true classic and will never date. The necklace features feux pearl cabochons with rhinestones (none missing) and has an adjustable length chain with lobster claw clasp. The stud earrings are plain feux pearl cabochons. The Christian Dior signature can be seen on both necklace and clasp.
The CD signature is also on the back of one of the earrings. The reverse of the clasp has Germany on it so could well have been made by Henkel and Grosse. The German company was selected in 1955 to manufacture jewellery for Dior and they produced elaborate rhinestone sets for Dior during their collaboration. The rhinestones on this necklace really sparkle and the cabochons are as good as new. Although the design of the earrings is different to the necklace (no rhinestones) they still look good when worn together. For your information the total length of the necklace, including clasp, is 49cms approx and the earrings measure 1.75 x 1.25cm wide approx. Having a massive clear out due to downsizing.
