The original Haskell faux baroque pearls were badly damaged. So I removed the original pearls and cleaned the filthy earrings gently but thoroughly and then wired in authentic baroque south sea pearls. My best guess would be these are from the late 40s-50s.
The team of Miriam Haskell and Frank Hess began in 1926. It wasn't until the 40s that Miriam Haskell's pieces wore her name. Approximately twenty years of unsigned Haskell's are out there. The key to identifying them is craftsmanship, findings, subject matter and good old fashioned research.
